The district is rolling out a 1:1 technology program this year, for which each student from kindergarten through fourth grade was issued an iPad tablet for daily in-school use. It also provides a Chromebook laptop computer to every student grades five through 12, which they can take home at night. Other technology upgrades include a virtual reality headset that is shared by classes and allows students to explore in 3-D. All devices employ safety controls and students have been instructed in the proper use of the technology.
