United Elementary on a Mission — MISSION KINDNESS

Mission Kindness

At United Elementary, each grade level was given the MISSION to extend KINDNESS to a person, group, or organization. The following are this year’s MISSION KINDNESS projects:

• Kindergarten hosted a Kindness Event for United’s Pre-K Counts students.
• First Grade created spring placemats for residents for nearby nursing homes.
• Second Grade collected toiletries and other items for families experiencing homelessness.
• Third Grade collected monetary donations for Kritter Kamp, which rehabilitates wildlife.
• Fourth Grade collected monetary donations for Make-A-Wish.
• Fifth Grade had a Penny War for coats to children and families those in need.
• Sixth Grade created cards and collected items for snack baskets to show appreciation for United’s three local fire departments.
