Salisbury math learners create carnival game for statistics project

Salisbury Statistics Carnival Game!
Salisbury Learning Facilitator, Mrs. Kayley Gates shared a project her 5th & 6th grade math learners are working on. Groups of 5th and 6th grade learners completed a statistics project where they recorded and presented data based upon a carnival style game.
In order to record their data, they put together a carnival for the Salisbury kindergartners. Kindergartners had the opportunity to play the games while the 5th/6th graders record statistical data that they can use to create numerous statistical charts and graphs including frequency charts, box and whiskers plots and histograms.
