Oley Valley participates in Schuylkill Valley Special Olympics

The Oley Valley School District (OVSD) participated in the Schuylkill Valley Special Olympics on May 10, 2022. Schools from Antietam, Brandywine Heights, Conrad Weiser, BCIU PAL program, Schuylkill Valley and OVSD all had students participating in various events from standing long jump, running long jump, softball throw, 50M, 100M runs to relays. Each student could participate in at least three events, thus winning many ribbons. Our Ron Bernas represented Oley Valley with carrying the torch for the Opening Ceremony. Oley Valley School District had some high school buddies to help assist in events and all the students, buddies and staff had a fantastic time!
