Montgomery High School seniors, Cameron St. James and Morgan Bloom, were recently hired as Broadcasting interns and are receiving television commercial credits.

Lights, camera, action! Two Montgomery High School seniors broadcasting students received their first televised commercial credits. Seniors, Cameron St. James and Morgan Bloom, were recognized for their work on their high school’s weekly YouTube broadcast and were offered paid internships with an area car dealership. The students are responsible for concept, design, filming, editing and uploading monthly television and YouTube commercials to the airways for Murray Motors. “These students are building a portfolio that most college students don’t have the opportunity to develop until they receive internships,” said Carina McNear, co-teacher of the broadcast journalism program with Mr. Chris Ulrich. To date, St. James and Bloom have sent four commercials to television airways and two to radio. The commercials appear on all Comcast networks.
