Hereford Hike Walk-a-thon raises over $30,000

This fall, Hereford Elementary students took part in the Hereford Hike Walk-a-thon, their largest fundraiser of the year. Prior to the event, students received donations from sponsors to support their goal of raising $15,000. On Friday, students walked around their assigned track to earn their sponsored money for one hour. Together, students raised over $30,000! Parents, friends, Upper Perkiomen High School cheerleaders and the marching band joined the elementary students to cheer them on.
The money raised will help enhance the quality of each student’s education through field trips, assemblies, PTFS sponsored activities and events, and the ongoing playground renovation.
