Fallin’ into fun

Sayre Area School District  |  Posted on

Students at Snyder Elementary School in Sayre, and their families, spent an October Saturday at the district’s Satterlee Creek hiking the trails to learn about ecology in the forest and performing stream studies in the hunt for bugs. Besides what there was to discover on these learning journeys, youngsters took some extra moments to enjoy an apple hunt for prizes, they painted pumpkins using paintbrushes made by nature, plus enjoyed petting live animals and learned the importance on how to handle and care of these creatures.
