Students at Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School honed skills in construction while benefitting a local historical research facility. The Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle now has a new event pavilion built in part by the students as part of their hands-on education. The new facility is designed to look like the hangars the U.S. military used in World War II and can be used to house events such as education programs for the public.
